Effective immediately starting January 1st, 2021
Dear Autonorma.co.uk Customers,
Due to recent developments regarding Brexit and the United Kingdom no longer being a member country of the European Union, all orders with a delivery address in England, Scotland, and Wales* are now released from the VAT tax and a subject to the import tax which is to be paid to our carrier partner DHL conveniently online before receiving our package with the goods.
The standard VAT tax rate in the Czech Republic is 21%, whereas the import tax imposed by the British govt. currently averages at 23%
*Northern Ireland is still treated as a part of the EU, which means that all orders with a delivery address in Northern Ireland remain unchanged by Brexit; these orders continue to be a subject to the VAT tax with no customs fee.
Should you order on our website as a resident of Northern Ireland, please choose country Northern Ireland as a country of delivery.
VAT and Customs fees
As of 1 January 2021, UK businesses and individuals have to consider imports and exports to and from European Union (EU) countries as they do for countries outside the EU.
Note: all prices on our website for goods with delivery to the UK (England, Scotland and Wales) are without VAT. Therefore, the import customs fee will apply upon delivery to the customer.

Refundable deposit and Collections
As of 1 January 2021, our spedition partner DPD, which facilitates the old core collection service from our customers, has suspended all of its collections and pickups in the UK until further notice. This is yet another ramification of the recent Brexit event, and we sincerely apologize for the caused inconvenience as such matters are out of control.
Therefore, in light of these recent changes, the old core collection/pickup option is no longer available on our website. The only way to return your old core is to send it to us at your own expense. However, we currently encourage our British customers to keep their old cores until ground transit opens back up between Europe and the UK; as soon as it does, it will be once again possible to send your old part to us at a reasonable price.
Additionally, your refundable deposit no longer expires after 30 days since the receipt of our product due to these extraordinary circumstances. Simply keep your old core for now as we are going to sort out the deposit as soon as the transit situation between Europe and the UK allows us.
Should you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us on email@example.com and we will be more than happy to provide further guidance.
Thank you very much for your understanding,
