PDE/UIS – Injector unit SKODA

Pump - Nozzle PDE / UIS is a combined injection unit, also known as pump - nozzle system. This is a method of realizing hydraulic piston injection of liquid fuel for diesel engines. The injection pump and the injection nozzle form a unit. The remanufactured injection unit is mounted directly into the cylinder head, where it is located in the cradle. The unit is mostly driven by a camshaft, so the solution is suitable for OHC engines. The absence of the Common Rail system allows high injection pressures of up to 220 MPa. Injection doses are controlled by the engine control unit using a high-pressure solenoid valve. The third generation system uses 2 valves - one to control the movement of the injector needle and the other to control the injection pressure.
